El Pueblo de los idiomas (das Sprachdorf): un recurso metodológico basado en realia para desarrollar la competencia comunicativa

Resumen: En este artículo se presenta un recurso metodológico conocido en alemán como Sprachdorf que permite desarrollar la competencia comunicativa de nuestros alumnos a través de interacciones orales contextualizadas e integrar el aprendizaje de contenidos léxicos, gramaticales, pragmáticos y culturales. Este tipo de proyecto se está llevando a cabo en Alemania y Países Bajos, pero posee una larga tradición desde finales del siglo XIX basada en el concepto de realia. Su implementación en centros de secundaria puede solucionar el problema de falta de prácticas orales y ayudar a ofrecer una visión significativa de la adquisición de lenguas extranjeras.

Cranial Pair I: The Olfactory Nerve

The olfactory nerve constitutes the first cranial pair. Compared with other cranial nerves, it depicts some atypical features. First, the olfactory nerve does not form a unique bundle. The olfactory axons join other axons and form several small bundles or fascicles: the fila olfactoria. These fascicles leave the nasal cavity, pass through the lamina cribrosa of the ethmoid bone and enter the brain. The whole of these fascicles is what is known as the olfactory nerve. Second, the olfactory sensory neurons, whose axons integrate the olfactory nerve, connect the nasal cavity and the brain without any relay. Validation of the Satisfaction Questionnaire with physical education classes (CSCEF) in the Latin American context

The objective of this study was to validate the Satisfaction Questionnaire in Physical Education Classes (CSCEF) in the context of Latin America (Dominican Republic). 1298 students aged between 15 and 21 participated. The psychometric properties of the instrument were analysed. The results demonstrated that the best factor solution would be a multidimensional model represented by nine dimensions for the satisfaction construct, as well as a higher-order model. According to Cronbach's alpha and omega index, values between .66 and .99 were obtained. The Latin American version of the CSCEF was invariant with respect to gender. Disfemia y ansiedad en el aprendizaje de inglés como lengua extranjera.

espanolEste trabajo fundamentalmente cualitativo explora la interrelacion entre disfemia, ansiedad en una lengua extranjera (ALE), y aprendizaje de ingles para identificar las areas de mayor dificultad de aprendizaje en estudiantes disfemicos adolescentes y adultos espanoles aprendices de esta lengua. De una muestra de treinta y dos alumnos, dieciseis con disfemia (ACD) y dieciseis sin disfemia (ASD), se analizaron entrevistas realizadas con los primeros, y se compararon sus respuestas con las de los ASD a dos escalas de ALE. Abstract Speakers in research dissemination talks are challenged with the need to connect with an audience that does not necessarily share their knowledge and expertise. This communicative situation can be particularly challenging for speakers using English both as a foreign language and for academic purposes. This study combines multimodal and ethnographic methods to explore how speakers of dissemination talks engage with their public.
